Newburn Power certified to Gold Standard with Constructionline

Newburn’s commitment to health & safety and excellence across all company policies is recognised with the award of Gold accreditation by Constructionline, the leading procurement and supply chain register for UK construction.

Working with over 10,000 buyers from more than 4,000 public and private sector organisations, Constructionline undertakes rigorous audits of its members, ensuring that buyers can confidently engage with accredited suppliers who meet a range of government-approved standards developed by the British Standards Institute. While Newburn Power have previously been accredited with Constructionline, the company has now achieved the new Gold level, reflecting their commitment to health and safety, quality and environmental standards.

To achieve Gold membership, Newburn completed an enhanced, verified prequalification questionnaire that goes beyond the information collected through PAS91, and assessment for Constructionline’s Safety Systems in Procurement (SSIP) scheme – something that all construction buyers look for in supplier selection. This Gold level of membership involves the assessment of a company’s credentials for environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence and anti-bribery and corruption policies.

Mark Henstock, Newburn Power’s managing director, commented,
“Gaining this enhanced level of accreditation was important to us, as it clearly demonstrates to our customers that we maintain the highest standards across risk management and governance, with robust policies that have been scrutinised through the validation process. Gold membership of Constructionline makes it easier for prospective customers to choose Newburn for their power requirements, confident that we work to the standards they demand, with a focus on health and safety at all times, reflected in this and the numerous industry accreditations we hold.”
